Fallout New Ronto is (currently) an independent project of which I consider a bit of a hobby but has since grown into a full blown expected Fallout 4 PC mod. The project started originally back in the Fallout 3 days, post "The Pitt" DLC and was originally titled "Project Blue". The idea of creating a post-apocalyptic world set in my home town of Toronto, Canada was something i was quite ecstatic for, even though I had no intention of it ever becoming something that a massive amount of people would play. I just really enjoyed playing around in the GECK/Creation Kit and replicating parts of my city into the game.

Development for New Ronto really picked up when the BETA version of the Creation Kit was released for Fallout 4. During this time I abandoned the New Ronto project (Project Blue) for Fallout 3 and started working on the pre-production of the concept for Fallout 4 with the expected release on Nexusmods and Bethesda.net. This is... if I ever intended to complete the mod and for whenever (if) I did. As it has been something I've seen more always as a hobby, a therapeutic art form similar to writing a story or painting. Little did i know that this personal project of mine would grow a fan base. So the pressure to actually get it moving was really starting to grow. As someone who works heavy weekday hours and cherishes every freedom moment I have, the anxiety certainly was there that this looming project was going to become apart of my daily anxiety.

However the out-pour of support has been overwhelming. Especially from the other mod developers from some of the greatest mods currently in development for Fallout 4 and New Vegas. Without them this mod would never have gotten as far along, technically, as it has now.

Because I do live an incredibly busy life New Ronto isn't something I can 100% say will ever come to be. It is however something I am deeply passionate about. Riverdale Farm - Update 3.27.2018

Riverdale Farm is located in Cabbagetown in the downtown East area of Toronto. Originally operating as the Riverdale Zoo for 177 years, featuring several exotic animals from around the world. ( Footage of Riverdale Zoo in the 1930's ). The 162-acre landscaped area officially opened in 1890 on top of a pile of garbage and manure landfill that had been carefully prepared by the local Don Jail prisoners. Four years later, thanks to the efforts of the zoo's founder, Daniel Lamb, a city alderman and local resident, the city had acquired two wolves and a small herd of deer for public display. These would be the first pieces in a gigantic collection. The creatures first went on display in 1899 in small purpose-built enclosures. Riverdale Zoo was maintained by the city up until 2067, with the annexation of Canada by the United States, the city's funding for attractions and events were inevitably ended.
